About the Position:
Our client, an established mid-size Chicago law firm, is actively seeking an experienced bankruptcy and restructuring attorney with an established practice ($400k or more if portable business) to join as a partner. This entrepreneurial firm represents an array of clients, from mid-sized ventures to Fortune 500 corporations, in complex matters throughout the world. Target candidates will have significant experience representing clients in workouts, restructurings, and business reorganizations, as well as experience representing buyers and sellers of financially distressed companies and distressed debt, and advising parties involved in bankruptcy-related matters. Qualifications:
· Significant bankruptcy and restructuring experience, including representing lenders, creditors, and equity sponsors in asset-based lending, foreclosure and debtor-in-possession financing transactions
· A degree in business or finance is preferred
· A portable book of business ($400k or more)
