About the Position:
We are working with one of the world’s largest law firms that has an immediate need for an immigration attorney (1+ yrs) to join the Employment and Compensation group in its Chicago office, in a non-partnership track role. This Chambers-ranked practice represents multinational employers with all their employment needs including day-to-day HR counseling, workforce restructurings, immigration, and collective bargaining matters.

Responsibilities:
· Assist clients in global and U.S. immigration cases
· Draft, prepare, and assemble business nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions, including responses to requests for evidence
· Use internal case management tools to handle multiple matters and manage case progress
· Stay abreast of changing immigration legislation and assess the effects it may have on clients’ businesses
Required Qualifications:
· 1-3 years of experience in U.S. business immigration law
· Experience with business nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions
· Experience with global immigration matters is a plus
· Excellent academic credentials
· Strong case management, writing, and communication skills
