Our client, a distinguished global law firm, is seeking a corporate finance attorney to join its Chambers-ranked practice as a mid-level associate in Chicago, focusing in insurance and reinsurance regulatory and transactional matters. This firm boasts more than 100 years of experience serving all segments of the insurance industry, and this practice represents buyers and sellers in insurance combinations, providing legal services on all of the corporate and regulatory aspects of a deal.

Responsibilities:
· Counsel clients on fund formation, licensing, regulatory compliance, advertising issues, surplus lines, and filing matters
· Work with insurance and non-insurance entities on transactional matters such as M&A, corporate, departmental and premium tax filings, annual reports, and affiliate transactions
Required Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of experience with fund formation, investment management and/or broker-dealer regulation

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $275,000 – $350,000.
