About the Position:
Our client, a strong and established Chicago law firm with a highly regarded corporate transactions practice, is actively seeking a corporate M&A attorney with 3 or more years of strong law firm transactions experience to join as an associate. The attorneys in this dynamic practice represent business owners, investors, and organizations ranging from mid-sized, entrepreneur-operated companies to large global companies in corporate counseling, M&A, capital raising, business formation, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities:
· Handle a full range of corporate transactions, including private company mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, commercial contracts, and LLC/shareholder agreements
· Advise middle market companies on sophisticated corporate matters

Required Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of corporate transactions experience
· Strong academic credentials
· Experience with private securities offerings and private equity is a plus
