About the Position:
We are working with an established and dynamic midsize Chicago law firm that has an immediate need for an employment attorney (10+ yrs) to join as a partner in the firm’s premier practice. This practice group advises employers on a variety of employment-related matters, including federal, state and local legal compliance, litigation and employment contracts, as well as executive compensation and benefits and corporate transactions. This firm has a deep bench of talent in a wide range of practice areas, all while boasting rates that are very competitive in the Chicago market. This firm can provide you with a platform to service your clients in a way that few law firms can.

· Advise employers on a range of employment matters
· Counsel employers on compliance with state and federal employment laws
· Draft and negotiate employment agreements

Required Qualifications:
· 10 or more years of employment experience
· Experience with traditional labor, executive compensation and benefits, and advising on employment aspects of corporate transactions is a plus
· Some portable business is preferred ($500k+)
