About the Position:
We are working with one of the largest global law firms that has an immediate need for an ERISA litigation attorney (3+ yrs) to join as a mid-level associate in Chicago. This law firm has one of the leading ERISA Fiduciary practices in the US and represents major financial institutions and investment management firms, as well as corporate and government plan sponsors, on ERISA aspects of investments, regulatory compliance, risk management, enforcement and defense of fiduciary challenges.

Responsibilities:
· Advise public and private companies and private equity funds on executive compensation, employment, and employee benefits matters arising in mergers and acquisitions, financings, initial public offerings, and other corporate/finance transactions
· Advise clients on the business and legal aspects of structuring investment funds that are targeted to ERISA and governmental pension plans and other institutional investors
· Counsel clients on regulatory compliance issues relating to ERISA matters
Required Qualifications:
· 1-4 or more years of experience handling employee benefits/executive compensation transactions involving private funds, credit agreements, and structured finance products for financial institutions, asset managers and plan sponsors
· Large law firm experience preferred
· Excellent academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $225,000 – $310,000.
