About the Position:
Our client, a large and sophisticated global law firm, is actively seeking an insurance coverage litigator to join its Chicago office as a mid or senior level associate (depending on level of experience). This firm is top-ranked in insurance law, and its Insurance + Reinsurance Litigation practice is widely recognized for representing insurers on some of the most challenging matters, including complex claims and high-exposure coverage and reinsurance matters.

Responsibilities:
· Handle insurance coverage issues under professional liability, general liability, and director and officer insurance policies
· Draft pleadings and dispositive motions
· Handle all facets of discovery/discovery motion practice, depositions, and court appearances

Required Qualifications:
· 4-7 years of civil litigation experience surrounding reinsurance and insurance coverage matters
· Business development experience, client management, and independent management of cases preferred
· Excellent academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $250,000 – $370,000.
