About the Position:
Our client, a global firm, is seeking a labor and employment attorney to join its Chicago office as a junior associate. This practice represents employers in a range of matters, including federal and state discrimination class actions and FLSA cases. Target candidates will have 1 or more years of employment-related and/or class action experience as well as experience counseling clients on employment law compliance. Excellent opportunity to develop your practice in the sophisticated labor and employment group of a top Am Law firm – and gain strong hands-on litigation experience.
Required Qualifications:
· 1 or more years of law firm employment-related and/or class action experience, specifically litigating wage and hour discrimination and EEOC/DOL actions, as well as drafting workplace policies and counseling clients on employment law compliance
· Substantive knowledge of federal and state employment laws
· Excellent academic credentials
