About the Position:
Our client, a Midwest-based national law firm, is actively seeking a patent attorney to join as a mid-level associate in its collaborative Chicago office to handle both litigation and prosecution matters. This cutting-edge group handles patent matters in virtually every country and handles patent applications, IP due diligence, third-party portfolio assessments, as well as high-profile patent litigation matters. Target candidates will have 3 or more years of patent litigation and prosecution experience. Must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or electrical engineering and be registered with the USPTO. Required Qualifications:
· 3 or more years of patent litigation and prosecution experience
· Experience drafting motions, briefs, and pleadings, handling depositions, and appearing in court
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or electrical engineering
· Registered to practice before the USPTO
