About the Position:
Our client, a premier Am Law 50 firm with a large and established Chicago office, has an immediate need for an associate-level (3 or more years) lawyer with a privacy/cybersecurity focus to join its global data privacy and cybersecurity practice.

Responsibilities:
· Advise clients on a range of US-focused privacy and other data-related compliance counseling
· Assist clients with development of compliance programs, privacy policies, and incident response plans
· Draft policies and procedures relating to data privacy

Required Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of data privacy counseling experience
· Experience with incident response, advising clients, and implementing compliance programs
· Financial and health/life sciences sector and/or state health privacy law experience preferred
· Specific experience with adtech and cookies/online trackers preferred
· Excellent academic credentials
