About the Position:
Our client, a global Am Law 50 firm, has an immediate need for a tax lawyer to join its large and established Chicago office as a junior-level associate. This nationally-ranked practice represents clients ranging from multinational enterprises to closely held companies in a full range of tax matters.

Responsibilities:
· Advise clients on tax-related transactional and corporate matters
· Assess risk and advise on tax-related issues associated with a range of agreements and insurance terms
· Advise corporate and private clients on domestic and cross-border transactions

Required Qualifications:
· 2-3 years of transactional tax experience within a law firm
· Tax-related M&A, private equity, and partnership experience
· Experience with family offices, high net worth clients and oil & gas matters is a plus
· Strong academic credentials
