About the Position:
Our client, a top international law firm, has an immediate need for a trademark prosecution attorney to join its IP practice in Chicago. The attorneys in this cutting-edge practice represent some of the most well-known corporations and brands across the spectrum of IP matters, including high-stakes cases before the PTAB, ITC, and Federal Circuit.

Responsibilities:
· Manage trademark portfolios
· Conduct trademark clearance searches
· Handle trademark prosecution as well as TTAB proceedings with the USPTO
· Draft office action responses, notices of opposition, and petitions for cancellation
· Handle international trademark prosecution and dispute matters nationally and under the Madrid Protocol with non-U.S. trademark agents

Required Qualifications:
· 5 or more years of significant trademark prosecution experience
· Experience handling trademark prosecution/dispute matters under the Madrid Protocol

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $135,000 – $175,000.
