In-House – Corporate Counsel, Employment – Chicago
Our client, a packaging supplier, is actively seeking an employment attorney with 4+ years of experience to join its dynamic in-house legal team as a Counsel. The individual in this newly-created role will work closely with the HR department and will be responsible for providing legal guidance on a range of employment-related matters including terminations, compensation and benefits, restrictive covenants, and discrimination and harassment. Target candidates for this position will have strong employment law experience with law firm training (additional in-house is a plus) including knowledge of state and federal employment laws and drafting and negotiating employment contracts. Must have strong academic credentials and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
