About the Position:
Our client, a global Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a litigator to join its Chicago office as an associate with a focus on real estate finance litigation. This practice has extensive experience in the representation of real estate lenders in troubled and defaulted mortgage loans across all asset classes, and its client roster includes more than half of the top 50 U.S. bank holding companies. as well as several well-known foreign banks.

Responsibilities:
· Handle a wide variety of discovery projects, including drafting requests and responses, drafting protective orders, handling document productions, and managing depositions
· Work on motion-related projects such as drafting simple motions and assisting with complex motions

Required Qualifications:
· 2+ years of experience in commercial real estate finance litigation (or a desire to focus in this area)
· Bankruptcy litigation experience is a plus
· Excellent academic credentials
