About the Position:
We are working with an Am Law 100 firm with one of the largest IP practices in the nation. Our client has an immediate need for a patent prosecution attorney, specializing in software/utility and design applications, to join its practice as a junior or mid-level associate in Chicago. This practice assists clients with design patents that provide robust protection by using cutting-edge strategies as well as a customized approach, and has helped clients in obtaining thousands of design patents in the U.S. and internationally.

Responsibilities:
· Draft and prosecute patent applications, including utility and design applications, in the electrical, mechanical, and computer technology fields
· Assist clients through every stage of the patent process

Required Qualifications:
· 2 or more years of patent preparation and prosecution experience from a law firm setting
· Degree in physics, electrical engineering, or computer science
. Experience with software and/or AI, IOT, networking, and/or Quantum technologies
Admission to the USPTO
· Top academic credentials and excellent writing skills
