About the Position:
We are working with a boutique Chicago law firm focused in the medical malpractice area, that has an immediate need for an experienced litigator (5+ years, preferably in medical malpractice) to join the firm as a senior associate. Ideal candidates will have first chair trial experience. This law firm has successfully secured numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and awards for plaintiff clients across the United States.

Responsibilities:
· Work at the direction of the Managing Partner in preparing matters for hearing, trial, arbitration or mediation
· Conduct thorough case evaluations, analyze medical records, and gather evidence to build strong
medical malpractice claims
· Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediation, and settlement conferences
· Conduct depositions, appear in court, and interact with clients and opposing counsel
· Answer discovery and manage case files

Required Qualifications:
· 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably with medical malpractice and/or birth trauma experience
· Expert witness deposition experience and first chair trial experience
· Proven ability to lead a team
· Proficiency in using case management software
· Strong academic credentials
