About the Position:
We are working with a premier Am Law firm based in the Midwest with an immediate need for a transactional real estate lawyer to join its Chicago office as an associate. Attorneys in this sophisticated practice represent owners and developers, hotels, institutions and REITs, and have contributed to some of the country’s most vibrant downtown projects, high-end shopping centers, deluxe hotels and mixed-use projects, as well as office, industrial, manufactured and multifamily home, self-storage, and health care projects.

Responsibilities:
· Assist with representing clients in complex real estate transactions
· Negotiate purchase and sale agreements, development agreements and approvals, construction documents, financing arrangements, and leases

Required Qualifications:
· 2 to 4 years of real estate transactional experience at a law firm
· Interest in networking with existing clients and developing business opportunities
