About the Position:
We are working with an established Chicago law firm, with a truly high-end and sophisticated practice, that has an immediate need for a litigator to join as a mid-level associate. This firm is well-known for its collaborative work environment and has a diverse middle-market client base. The attorneys in the litigation practice represent clients in a broad range of litigation matters, including securities, shareholder/partnership, construction, intellectual property, and contract disputes in state and federal courts.

Responsibilities:
· Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and mediation presentations
· Manage discovery document collection and production
· Take and defend depositions and appear in court
· Communicate with opposing counsel and clients

Required Qualifications:
· 5 or more years of commercial litigation experience from a mid-size or large law firm
. Strong academic credentials
· Desire for a client-facing and dynamic middle-market practice

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $150,000 – $175,000.
