About the Position:
Our client, an established midsize Chicago law firm, is actively seeking a corporate M&A lawyer with experience in the insurance brokerage industry. This law firm has one of the nation’s most active practices for insurance brokerage transactions, including traditional M&A (both buy-side and sell-side), capital raises, and internal perpetuation. Attorneys in this practice uphold close relationships with leading insurance brokerage M&A intermediaries and are often engaged to serve as sell-side M&A counsel to insurance agencies and their owners.

Responsibilities:
· Work on corporate transactions, including M&A, for clients in the insurance industry
· Represent a range of clients, including private equity-backed national insurance agencies and regional and specialty insurance agencies

Required Qualifications:
· 3 or more years of experience with M&A transactions in the insurance brokerage industry
· Strong writing skills
· Top academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $200,000 – $250,000.
