About the Position:
We are working with the Chicago office of a national law firm that is actively seeking a tax lawyer to join its practice as a junior-level associate. This premier practice collaborates with some of the most notable market leaders in the US and internationally, assisting with a variety of tax matters, including federal, international, and state and local tax planning and controversy matters.

Responsibilities:
· Handle a broad range of tax matters, including U.S. Federal income, international and SALT planning in connection with domestic and cross-border M&A, investment fund formation and real estate transactions

Required Qualifications:
· 2 to 3 years of tax experience with federal, international, and state and local tax planning and controversy matters
· LL.M. in taxation preferred
· Excellent academic credentials, research, and writing skills

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $205,000 – $255,000.
