About the Position:
We are working with a Chicago-based national law firm that is actively seeking an investment management lawyer to join its Corporate Finance and Securities Department as an associate. This industry-leading practice represents a broad spectrum of financial institutions, including insurance companies, investment banks, pension funds, foreign and domestic issuers and commercial finance companies.

Responsibilities:
· Represent registered investment companies, including open-end funds, closed-end funds and ETFs with formation and operation of funds
· Advise clients on a variety of compliance and risk management matters

Required Qualifications:
· 2 to 6 years of experience in investment management, asset management and 40 Act law
· Strong experience with registered funds, including open-end funds/mutual funds, closed-end funds and exchange-traded funds, and 1940 Act fund governance
· Excellent academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $235,000 – $390,000.
