We are working with a top global law firm that has an immediate need for an investment management attorney to join its nationally recognized practice as an associate in Chicago. This practice is consistently recognized as a leading investment management practice and represents investors and sponsors forming private and public investment vehicles, as well as in IPOs, spin-outs, and mergers and acquisitions.

Responsibilities:
· Advise funds, fund sponsors, and underwriters in the U.S. and abroad
· Assist clients with structuring, offering, operation, and ongoing financing and regulation of registered investment companies

Required Qualifications:
· 2 or more years of investment management experience, including 1940 Act registered funds experience and business development company work
· Experience from a large law firm investment management practice is preferred
· Excellent academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $260,000 – $390,000.
