About the Position:

Our client, a sophisticated boutique Chicago law firm, has an active need for a trusts and estates lawyer with strong probate and guardianship experience to join its practice as a senior-level associate. Attorneys in this practice handle complex trust, estate, and guardianship disputes, representing fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and other parties with a strategic, litigation-informed approach. The firm balances effective advocacy with practical solutions, including alternative dispute resolution, to protect client interests while minimizing conflict.

Responsibilities:
· Represent a range of clients, including families, family-owned and closely held businesses, corporations, partnerships, tax-exempt entities, business owners, entrepreneurs and high net-worth individuals in trust and estate matters and related tax issues
· Represent executors, administrators and corporate fiduciaries in decedent estate matters

Required Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience with trust, probate, guardianship disputes, and estate administration matters, and related tax matters
· Strong writing skills

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $125,000 – $155,000.
