About the Position:
Our client, a premier midsize Chicago law firm, is actively seeking a corporate lawyer with 6-8 years of broad-based corporate transactional experience to join as a Senior Counsel. Attorneys in this thriving practice represents business owners, investors, and organizations ranging from mid-sized, entrepreneur-operated companies to large global companies in corporate counseling, M&A, capital raising, business formation, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities:
· Represent clients with private securities offerings, corporate governance, and general corporate matters
· Draft and negotiate transaction documents and complex agreements, including commercial contracts and LLC/shareholder agreements
· Manage deals from initial strategy through closing

Required Qualifications:
· 6-8 years of corporate transactional experience
· Experience with real estate and private equity fund formation is a plus

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $275,000 – $325,000.
