About the Position:
Our client, a prestigious global law firm, is seeking a tax lawyer specializing in transactional work to join its Chicago office as a mid-level associate. This practice has repeatedly earned recognition for being one of the top tax practices in the country and this firm has a strong dedication to pro bono work with nearly three million hours donated in the last 15 years.

Responsibilities:
· Represent public and private companies in tax matters involving M&A, post-acquisition integrations, cross-border and global internal restructurings, spin-offs, and joint ventures
· Handle tax matters for REITs, regulated investment companies, partnerships, and LLCs

Required Qualifications:
· 4-6 years of tax transactions experience
· Experience with partnerships and/or REITs preferred
· Excellent academic credentials

Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $310,000 – $390,000.
