About the Position:
Our client, a global leader in industrial automation solutions, is actively seeking an experienced contracts paralegal with 7+ years of experience to join its in-house legal team in its office located in a western suburb of Chicago. The individual in this role will be responsible for managing the company’s commercial contract lifecycle while working closely with the General Counsel. Responsibilities:
· Assist with managing commercial contract lifecycle, including MSAs, NDAs, distribution agreements, and vendor contracts
· Handle corporate subsidiary management (U.S. and international), including officer/director maintenance, annual filings, and business registrations
· Update contract templates, review supplier contracts for technology products and services, and draft transaction documents
· Maintain and enhance internal legal guidelines, process outlines, and template libraries
· Assist with due diligence, UBO, and KYC/AML requests
· Track litigation matters and compile periodic reports
· Assist with research activities and the initial drafting of responses to legal inquiries and demands
· Monitor intellectual property renewals and coordinate with outside counsel
· Process vendor reports and bills for payment approval
Required Qualifications:
· 7+ years of contracts experience in an in-house legal department
· Distribution/manufacturing industry in-house experience preferred
· Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate required
· Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Teams, Office, Excel)
· Experience with Salesforce, CLMs, and DocuSign
· International operations experience is a plus

Compensation:
The anticipated base compensation for this position is $95,000 – $125,000 + bonus.
