About the Position:
Our client, an international Am Law 50 firm, has an active need for an antitrust transactional lawyer to join its Chicago office in an of counsel role. This highly regarded practice provides antitrust and competition law counsel in regulatory compliance, investigations, M&A, consumer protection, litigation, and cartel enforcement. The firm has also developed a cutting-edge AI/risk management service allowing for more efficient identification of the risks of anti-competitive activity.

Responsibilities:
· Assess HSR reportability and prepare HSR forms
· Perform antitrust analysis of competitor transactions and general antitrust counseling
· Advise clients on matters involving merger control and third-party merger investigations
· Handle compliance matters relating to the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act

Required Qualifications:
· 8+ years of experience preparing HSR filings
· Familiarity with global merger control processes
· Relevant government experience preferred
· Excellent academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $450,000 – $525,000.
