About the Position:
Our client, a premier national law firm, has an active need for an experienced public finance lawyer to join its Chicago office as an associate. This sophisticated practice represents bond credit enhancement providers, major 501(c)(3) borrowers, purchasers of unrated high yield bonds and trustees, institutional investors and conduit bond obligors in restructuring public finance debt.

Responsibilities:
· Assist with public finance transactions, including structuring bond transactions
· Draft financing documents, perform document review and legal research, and write memorandums
· Serve as bond counsel, disclosure counsel, issuer’s special counsel and underwriter’s counsel on debt financings
Required Qualifications:
· 4+ years of broad-based public finance experience, including municipal bond real estate and UCC experience
· Experience with drafting financing documents, document review, legal research, and writing memorandums
· Strong academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $275,000 – $375,000.
