About the Position:
Our client, an elite Am Law 50 firm, has an active need for an employee benefits/executive compensation lawyer to join its Chicago office as an associate. This Chambers-ranked practice designs, implements, and advises on complex and compliant plans for multinational corporations and boards, and specializes in equity-based incentives, retirement plans, deferred compensation, and M&A-related benefits.

Responsibilities:
· Handle sophisticated executive compensation and employee benefits matters, including advising on EC/EB issues involving M&A transactions
· Draft and design executive employment, nonqualified deferred compensation, and equity compensation plans and agreements

Qualifications:
· 1+ years of experience with executive compensation and employee benefits law, preferably at a large law firm
· Strong academic credentials

Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $225,000 – $260,000.
