About the Position:
Our client, an Am Law 50 firm, has an active need for a real estate finance attorney to join its practice as an associate in its Chicago. This market-leading practice has hundreds of attorneys around the world and handles a range of real estate matters, including litigation, leasing, finance, construction, and land use.

Responsibilities:
· Represent banks, finance companies, and other large institutional lenders obtaining traditional mortgage loans
· Assist clients in all stages of real estate finance transactions, including conventional real estate financing, loan purchases and sales, building and ground leases, sale leasebacks, loan modifications and workouts

Required Qualifications:
· 4-6 years of real estate finance experience, including asset-based lending and/or loan origination
· Experience representing developers with the purchase, sale and financing of real estate and other forms of collateral is a plus
· Top academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $235,000 – $320,000.
