About the Position:
Our client, a national law firm, is seeking an attorney with affordable housing transactions experience (6+ yrs) to join as a senior-level associate or counsel (depending on level of experience) in its Chicago office. The attorneys in this multidisciplinary practice bring their knowledge of tax, financing, real estate, government policy, nonprofit organizations, and regulatory oversight to assist clients with complex projects across the country.

Responsibilities:
· Handle incident response for clients experiencing privacy and cyber events such as ransomware and business email compromises
· Assist clients with regulatory investigations from state and federal regulators under HIPAA and applicable state laws

Required Qualifications:
· 2-4 years of experience with healthcare privacy and compliance matters at an AmLaw 200 firm or a boutique firm that specializes in healthcare law/data privacy related issues (litigators with a strong interest in privacy law will also be considered)
· Knowledge of healthcare operations and HIPAA compliance
· Strong academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $235,000 – $285,000.
