About the Position:
Our client, a global, Midwest-based law firm, is actively seeking a debt finance lawyer to join its premier practice as an associate in Chicago. The finance practice group at this firm handles transactions across a wide range of financial market sectors and is active in all areas of the debt financing market, including secured and unsecured credit facilities, asset-based loans, asset securitization structures, letters of credit, issuance of public debt securities, placement of term debt, and interest rate swaps, caps, and other derivatives

Responsibilities:
· Support a broad range of debt finance transactions, including representing clients in the drafting, negotiation, and execution of financing and related ancillary documentation
· Advise on credit facilities and other financing arrangements
· Work collaboratively with partners and attorneys across practice groups
· Interact directly with clients and manage day to day aspects of transactions

Required Qualifications:
· 3-6 years of debt finance transactional experience (can be lender side and/or borrower side)
· Strong drafting skills

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $260,000 – $390,000.
