About the Position:
Our client, a Midwest-based national law firm, is seeking an experienced renewable energy attorney to join as an associate in its Chicago office. This firm is ranked by both Chambers USA and Legal 500 for its strong Renewables & Alternative Energy practice.

Responsibilities:
· Counsel clients on energy production and sustainability initiatives and transactions, including M&A, permitting and regulation, and facility development and construction
· Draft, negotiate, and review core agreements renewable energy projects, including EPC agreements, PPAs, equipment supply contracts, and long-term O&M or service agreements

Required Qualifications:
· 4-6 years of energy law experience, including commercial contracting, renewable energy development, and complex infrastructure projects
· Excellent academic credentials

Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $230,000 – $260,000.
