About the Position:
Our client, a prestigious global law firm, has an active need for an attorney with technology transactions experience to join its market-leading practice in Chicago as an associate. This practice represents a range of clients, ranging from growth-stage businesses to Fortune 100 companies, in negotiating, structuring and closing complex technology and IP-related transactions.

Responsibilities:
· Work on a range of domestic and international technology/IP transactions, serving both public and private companies across industries
· Advise on transactions related to mergers and acquisitions, financings, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and restructurings
· Draft and negotiate software and systems agreements, outsourcing contracts, R&D and collaboration agreements, licenses, and other commercial agreements

Required Qualifications:
· 3-6 years of experience with the intellectual property and technology aspects of complex business transactions
· Strong academic credentials

Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $260,000 – $390,000.
