About the Position:
Our client, a premier full-service boutique law firm, is seeking an associate to join its thriving construction litigation practice group. The firm manages the legal needs of contractors, owners, and developers in structuring and negotiating deals, heading off disputes early, and trying cases in courts and arbitration nationwide.

Responsibilities:
· Manage a varied litigation docket spanning design and construction defect claims, project delays, lien disputes, and nonpayment matters
· Represent contractors, owners, and developers in trials and arbitrations across the country
· Prepare and negotiate project contracts while counseling clients on resolving issues before they become formal claims

Required Qualifications:
· 4+ years of construction litigation experience
· Strong legal writing skills with demonstrated experience handling construction-related claims
· Construction transactional experience or a desire to develop transactional skills

Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range is $215,000 – $245,000.
