About the Position:
Our client, a highly regarded Chicago boutique law firm, is seeking an experienced commercial finance partner-level attorney to join its well-established lending and finance practice. The group advises a sophisticated and diverse client base on both sides of the transaction in a business-development focused practice. Responsibilities:
· Lead commercial finance and lending transactions on behalf of both lender and borrower clients
· Counsel clients through the negotiation, documentation, and enforcement of a full spectrum of secured and unsecured credit transactions, including commercial property financings, asset-based lending, project finance, and credit enhancement arrangements
· Drive growth within the practice area by leveraging the firm’s existing platform and cultivating new and existing client relationships

Required Qualifications:
· 10+ years of commercial finance and lending experience with the ability to independently lead complex transactions from start to close
· Experience navigating the Uniform Commercial Code with skills in drafting and advising on third-party legal opinions
· Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships and contribute to practice growth; portable book of business is required

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range is $250,000 – $350,000 (additional formula contingent on portable book).
