About the Position:
Our client, a global Am Law 50 firm, is seeking an attorney with strong experience handling energy and infrastructure deals, including tax transactions, to join its Energy practice as an associate. This firm has been named a “Powerhouse” for energy transactions, and the person in this position will focus on tax credit and M&A transactions within the energy sector.

Responsibilities:
· Advise clients on financings and M&A pertaining to power and energy transition transactions as well as federal energy tax credits
· Document and negotiate complex joint ventures, tax equity transactions, and tax credit transfers
· Draft and negotiate tax provisions in partnership agreements, credit agreements, and purchase and sale documentation
Required Qualifications:
· 5+ years of energy law experience, including exposure to tax equity financings and tax credit transfer transactions
· Experience advising on financings and M&A involving power, renewable energy, and energy transition projects
· Experience drafting and negotiating partnership agreements, credit agreements, and purchase and sale agreements
· Familiarity with partnership tax rules

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $365,000 – $435,000+.
