About the Position:
Our client, a leading international law firm, has an active need for an experienced technology transactions lawyer to join its corporate practice as a senior-level associate in Chicago. This law firm is a recognized leader in the FinTech space and advises leading cryptocurrency exchanges, fintech companies, investment funds, and emerging Web3 businesses on complex transactions, regulatory matters, and strategic growth initiatives.

Responsibilities:
· Lead complex commercial transactions focusing on blockchain/crypto matters
· Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a broad range of commercial agreements, including technology, licensing, SaaS, partnership, and strategic collaboration agreements
· Counsel clients on blockchain and crypto-related transactions, including token-related agreements, digital asset platforms, and Web3 initiatives
· Structure and negotiate mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic investments involving blockchain and digital asset businesses
· Conduct legal due diligence for M&A and investment transactions involving blockchain and cryptocurrency companies

Required Qualifications:
· 2-5+ years of technology transactions and commercial contracting experience, including strong crypto/blockchain knowledge
· Experience at a large law firm preferred
· M&A experience in the crypto space is a plus

Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $245,000+.
