About the Position:
Our client, a global Am Law firm, is seeking an antitrust litigator to join it’s nationally-ranked Antitrust practice as an associate in Chicago. Attorneys in this practice are involved in multibillion-dollar matters involving major international companies across a variety of industries, including telecommunication, media, healthcare and aerospace. The firm also advises on a wide range of governmental investigations along with anticompetitive pricing litigation disputes.

Responsibilities:
· Assist with all phases of antitrust litigation, from initial case analysis to settlement negotiations
· Handle day-to-day case management
· Take and defend depositions
· Draft briefs, memoranda, motions, and pleadings such as complaints, motions for class certification, and written discovery requests
· Conduct multi-jurisdictional legal research

Required Qualifications:
· 2-5 years of antitrust litigation experience
· Background at a nationally recognized law firm or in government
· Judicial clerkship experience is a plus
· Excellent academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $225,000 – $320,000.
