About the Position:
Our client, a top Am Law firm, is actively seeking a healthcare lawyer with strong regulatory experience to join as an associate in Chicago. This practice advises life sciences companies and healthcare providers on the full spectrum of healthcare matters, and its longstanding relationships with key federal and state government agencies allows its attorneys to provide top-tier service to clients navigating regulatory issues.

Responsibilities:
· Handle reimbursement issues, including both compliance and coding, coverage and payment for novel products and services
· Advise hospitals, health systems, practices, and providers on licensure issues, corporate practice and fee-splitting, and other regulatory matters
· Assist life sciences companies and healthcare providers with fraud and abuse matters, including Stark Law and the federal Anti-Kickback Statute
· Manage transactional due diligence, deal documentation, and negotiation

Required Qualifications:
· 3+ years of healthcare regulatory experience
· Experience with fraud and abuse counseling and compliance preferred
· Strong academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary for this position is $260,000+.
