About the Position:
Our client, a leading international law firm, is actively seeking an attorney with construction experience to join as an associate in its real estate practice group in Chicago. This firm’s real estate practice boasts more than 1,000 lawyers worldwide and handles the full spectrum of real estate matters, including investment, project finance, development, construction, leasing, partnership, joint venture formation, and disputes.

Responsibilities:
· Prepare and negotiate a range of construction contracts, including design-build, EPC, and development agreements
· Help coordinate and execute complex real estate development and construction deals involving multiple parties
· Perform legal research and due diligence to support project planning and risk mitigation
· Support dispute resolution efforts, including delay and defect claims, in both arbitration and litigation settings

Required Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of real estate law experience; construction law experience valued
· Excellent written and verbal communication with strong analytical skills
· Admitted to the bar in the State of Illinois

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $260,000 – $365,000.
