About the Position:
Our client, a Midwest-based Am Law firm, is looking for an attorney for its Real Estate Finance practice group to join its Chicago office as an associate. The firm represents a broad range of companies and assent managers on complex commercial mortgage loan matters.

Responsibilities:
· Negotiates and drafts a broad range of contracts spanning the life cycle of a commercial real estate asset, with an emphasis on CMBS loan servicing
· Represents financial institutions, real estate developers, and institutional investors in commercial real estate finance transactions, including corporate credit facilities, preferred equity investments, and commercial mortgage loans
· Works with lenders, borrowers, and investors, helping keep transactions organized and moving through each stage of the process

Required Qualifications:
· 3+ years of well-rounded real estate finance experience; background in workouts, loan sales, and asset management is preferred
· Excellent academic credentials and writing skills
· Admitted to the bar in the State of Illinois

Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $240,000 – $385,000.
