About the Position:
Our client, a highly-regarded global law firm, has an active need for a private client attorney to join its Los Angeles office as an associate. The firm advises families, businesses, and fiduciaries around the world on customized estate plans, tax-efficient wealth transfer, and succession planning for closely held businesses.

Responsibilities:
· Prepare estate planning documents for high-net-worth clients, such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives
· Handle estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax issues
· Research estate, trust, and tax questions and summarize findings in written memoranda
· Partner with senior attorneys to develop sophisticated planning strategies for global families
Required Qualifications:
· 2-4 years of estate planning or tax experience at a law firm, including trust and estate administration
· Strong drafting and analytical abilities
· Excellent academic credentials; an LL.M. in Taxation is desired
· Admitted to the bar in California

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $235,000 – $310,000.
