About the Position:
Our client, a boutique law firm, is seeking an experienced California litigation attorney for a fully-remote role. The firm represents skilled nursing facilities and similar organizations in all kinds of litigation, from healthcare, insurance, and business disputes to claims of malpractice, professional negligence, and elder abuse or neglect. They are looking for a general litigator and do not need expertise in this practice area.

There is no billable hours requirement. Weekends are your own and there is very little evening work. This is a true lifestyle opportunity.

Responsibilities:
· Handle complex civil matters from case intake through trial, including pleadings, motion practice, and post-trial work
· Build and direct discovery strategy, including document collection, written discovery, and deposition planning
· Prepare dispositive motions, including summary judgment briefing, on case-determining issues
· Assist in trial matters, supporting witness preparation, exhibits, and courtroom strategy

Required Qualifications:
· 2-10 years of litigation experience
· Active California Bar admission

Location:
100% remote in California

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $200,000 – $250,000 base plus discretionary bonus.
