About the Position:
Our client, a large Am Law 50 firm with a Chambers-ranked healthcare practice, is seeking a healthcare attorney to join its Chicago office as a mid-level associate. This firm’s healthcare practice has been recognized by major publications, including Modern Healthcare, and represents the full spectrum of healthcare clients, including academic medical centers, hospitals and health systems, home health agencies/hospices, pharmacies and pharmaceutical manufacturers, clinical labs, medical equipment companies, and research and drug development companies.

Responsibilities:
· Handle regulatory compliance issues related to licensure, physician self-referral and anti-kickback laws, as well as Medicare and Medicaid fraud and abuse
· Advise clients on complex issues involving Medicare and Medicaid coverage and reimbursement
· Conduct regulatory due diligence for major transactions

Required Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of health law experience, including regulatory, transactional, and strategic operational matters
· Strong academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $250,000 – $310,000.
