About the Position:
Our client, a collaborative national law firm, is seeking a technology and commercial transactions attorney to join its Chicago office as an associate. The firm advises U.S. and multinational companies on software, SaaS, cloud services, e-commerce, and other commercial transactions.

Responsibilities:
· Draft and negotiate contracts for SaaS, cloud services, software licensing and implementation, platform integrations, and professional services
· Help clients launch e-commerce platforms and address vendor onboarding, payments, merchant services, contract terms, and platform rules
· Handle technology licensing, IP commercialization, and partnership agreements
· Negotiate distribution, logistics, supply chain, and other commercial contracts

Required Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience drafting and negotiating technology and commercial agreements; experience with distribution, logistics, government contracts, or international transactions preferred
· Strong academic credentials with excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Solid analytical abilities, and practical business judgment, with the ability to manage deadlines independently and collaborate effectively with legal and business teams

Location:

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $187,000 – $360,000.
