About the Position:
Our client, a highly-regarded global law firm, is seeking a corporate transactional lawyer with strong private equity experience to join its Chicago office as an associate. Attorneys in this practice serve as trusted advisors to private equity funds, independent sponsors, family offices and their portfolio companies throughout the investment lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
· Represent private equity funds, independent sponsors, family offices, and portfolio companies in acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and growth financings
· Draft transaction agreements and documents and negotiate deal terms
· Manage transaction closings and processes

Required Qualifications:
· 4-6 years of experience with private equity transactions and a broad range of deal structures
· Excellent academic credentials
· Strong legal analysis, drafting, and verbal communication skills

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $310,000 – $390,000.
