About the Position:
We are working with a dynamic Am Law 100 firm that has an active need for an insurance coverage attorney to join its established team in Chicago. This firm is internationally recognized as a leader in insurance coverage and claims, and this practice represents insurance clients in matters involving errors and omissions, directors and officers coverage, mass tort and environmental coverage, employment practices liability, fiduciary liability, construction defect, and bad faith.

Responsibilities:
· Advise insurance clients on complex coverage questions involving contractual indemnity, competing provisions, and disputes over whether claims involve one or multiple occurrences
· Handle all stages of insurance coverage litigation, including commercial general liability coverage disputes and bad faith matters
· Draft detailed coverage analyses and letters communicating insurers’ coverage positions across a range of liability policies
· Independently manage an active caseload in consultation with insurance coverage attorneys nationwide

Required Qualifications:
· 5-8 years of substantial insurance coverage and litigation experience
· A background in commercial general liability is preferred
· Strong writing and analytical skills, including experience drafting coverage analyses

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary for this position is $205,000 – $225,000.
