About the Position:
Our client, a global Am Law 50 firm, has an active need for an intellectual property litigator to join its stellar practice as a mid-level associate in Chicago. This nationally-recognized practice leads high-stakes counterfeiting investigations around the world in more than 50 countries and has been involved in some of the most sophisticated cutting-edge cases in the courts today.

Responsibilities:
· Represent a variety of clients in trademark and copyright litigation matters
· Handle anti-counterfeiting actions, ranging from demand letters and writs/complaints to full-blown search and seizure actions (often coupled with criminal proceedings)
· Handle all aspects of IP litigation, including drafting complaints, managing discovery, preparing contentions, taking depositions, and preparing dispositive motions and settlement agreements
Required Qualifications:
· 3-4 years of litigation experience, including managing written discovery, brief writing, depositions, etc.
· Large law firm experience is preferred
· Top academic credentials

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $250,000 – $275,000.
