Our client, a top global law firm, is seeking a corporate or litigation attorney with a strong interest in AI matters to join its Chicago office as an associate. In this role, you will support a diverse docket of AI-focused advisory, regulatory, litigation, and transactional matters. Responsibilities:
· Advise clients on AI governance, regulatory compliance, and risk
· Support AI-related corporate and technology transactions, including drafting and negotiating agreements, identifying/mitigating AI-specific risks in deals, and performing due diligence,
· Conduct legal research
· Draft briefs, motions, memoranda, and correspondence to support litigation and regulatory matters
· Support depositions, discovery, fact development, and case strategy

Required Qualifications:
· 2-4 years of corporate transactional or litigation experience
· Desire for a mix of corporate and litigation/regulatory work involving the use of AI
· Strong interest in AI/emerging technologies (prior exposure to AI matters is a plus)
· Large law firm experience (Am Law 100 background preferred)
· Excellent academic credentials and writing skills

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $235,000 – $310,000.
